new teacher?

l went to this, http://www.english-at-home.com which i think is good for anybody to have a fast revision on english. i like the topics given, ie, grammar items, vocabulary, how to write, etc.
to my beloved students, i encourage you to go to this site, and you may copy the notes.
not just you cab have a pool of good notes but it can be your good resources to understand more about english.
you also can have a shift or a change from the lesson learnt in classroom, which i find sometimes make u boring, right?

USA and UK english

i got confused when i have to use certain terms in english because there is a difference between the UK and US english terms.
for example, if i want to use the word 'mee', or 'handphone', they use the terms 'noodles' and 'mobilephone'.
so i have to make sure the correct words so that people will not confuse.
to go to http://encarta.msn.com is a good site to know a few term which has the difference in usage between us and them.
'nasi lemak?' anyone? no? oh.. burger..
